Soul Flyers Vince Reffet and Fred Fugen filling the Australian sky with artistic performances.

After a winter full of flying in the wind tunnel ‘Airkix’ in Manchester and speedriding in Valfrejus, Vince and I are just back from Australia where they spent six weeks doing some Soul Flying!
We first had a freefly camp in Melbourne (VIC), organized by the Melbourne Skydive Center. There was twenty participants, all levels, with a nice 10 way doing some points head down and some tracing.
Another freefly session happened in Ballina (NSW), where we joined the boys of the Offtrack freefly team, doing some super nice 8 ways out of 2 Cessna airplanes. So much fun!
Our Soul Flyers Team finally went to Toogoolawah, the second biggest DZ in Australia, located near Brisbane (QLD), to organise a wing suit camp. The kind of wing suit jumps we did in Australia were inspired by their freefly experience, with double formations. Vince and I, as leaders on our backs, built two 8-ways flying next to each other and having crazy trajectories like crossings, over-under and lots of sync turns. Really technical jumps that all the flyers enjoyed!
The Aussie experience was amazing: lots of great skydivers and some great time with the people there. The Soul Flyers are willing to do this trip again!
