Fred Fugen and Vince Reffet acting in the sky to get action footage for the next commercial "Nintendo 3DS" for the french tv.

We (the Soul Flyers) got contacted by a production agency to shoot some free fall action for the next Nintendo commercial in france. This is to promote a piloting game called Pilotwings, on the latest portable Nintendo 3DS. This game is a simulation of planes, hanggliders, rocketman and some freefall. It was really funny for us to be involved in such a project as we have been playing this game as kids, on the older versions.
What Nintendo had in mind was to show some images very smooth, like floating in the sky, on the belly and on the back, holding the 3DS. They wanted us to jump without goggles, also to show that you don’t need glasses to see the 3D on the 3DS.
It took us 3 days and about 10 jumps to realise the images needeed for the clip.
Fred Fugen, Vince Reffet and Cathy Bouette are doing the performers, Kuri (Babylon) and Jean-Philippe Teffaud (Soul Flyers videoman) are shooting with some 5D on their helmets.
The clip is now on the french TV for one year.
